Voices of Women (VOW) Media was founded in 2007 by Vivian Wenli Lin and Pooja Pant in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. For seven years, VOW Media worked closely with communities of migrant women to encourage self-representation by learning creative and technical skills using various forms of visual and narrative storytelling.
In 2012, VOW Media has expanded to East Asian and South Asia. Vivian is now based in Hong Kong and Pooja is based in Nepal.
